We are a medium-sized software company located in Freiburg, Germany serving customers around the world. Over the past years we have grown significantly and we keep continue to grow, fast. It is time to make our Human Resources Administration a more strategic part of our management team and be able to offer a better service to our colleagues. Most of us are located in Germany but there are staff in the Netherlands, the UK and in the USA, and English is the first language of the business. Therefore, you should have excellent English and German.
You will not only make sure that we meet relevant compliance parameters but in close collaboration with our marketing team you will search for and win new colleagues. To achieve that goal, we expect you to come up with fresh ideas so that we stand out from the crowd. The critical part of your job will be to make sure new colleagues start off quickly and settle in well in their new job, so as to reach great performance as soon as possible. Have you already developed a ‘boarding process’ in the past and know what it costs? Perfect! Sounds like you could be the perfect candidate for the position.
But there must be more, what about your ability to connect with staff from all kinds of backgrounds? You will need to drive performance management using regular appraisals interviews one to one as well as in your general work as a human resources manager when developing our staff and our employer brand to meet the strategic aims of the business. And what about your assertiveness? We are looking for someone who acts in the interest of the entire company at all time – above all in difficult situations. Personal accounting is done externally and this will remain so for the time being.
As of today, we are not a huge company and we keep things rather informal. As we are growing fast, this offers you the opportunity to shape the business with us.
