Cryptshare’s software development process was successfully audited and subsequently certified according to ISO/IEC 27001. This certification deals with information security and requires the implementation of an information security management system (ISMS). Earning ISO 27001 certification is another powerful confirmation to customers and partners worldwide that all underlying procedures for the quality of Cryptshare and its performance meet the highest standards in information security.
From 1 January 2020, the "Wet op de Verplichte Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg" (WvGGZ) entered into force in the Netherlands. Secure ad hoc email communication in accordance with the NTA 7516 standard plays a crucial role in this. NTA 7516 prescribes that communication of medical personal data exchanged via email, must be sent securely in accordance with the definitions in the NTA 7516. Cryptshare has been one of the driving forces behind the creation of the NTA 7516 standard and is officially certified for NTA 7516.

The “IT Security Made in EU” trust seal is awarded to companies that are headquartered in the EU, offering trustworthy IT security solutions, are not offering solutions that contain non-declared backdoors, are conducting IT security reasearch and development in the EU and are compliant with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
