Security flaws in IT continue to present a great risk for data security. This was the case with ‘Efail’, when it was proven that e-mails using PGP and S/MIME encryption can be decrypted under certain circumstances- even retrospectively. In September of this year, ‘The Five Eyes‘ demanded IT providers implement back door access into their solutions to enable a “controlled data access”- and to thereby circumvent their own security measures. Albeit the free market did not agree with this advance, it became clear once again how high in demand is data and how important data security is these days. Protectingpersonal data and intellectual property continues to remain a great challenge and for us, as a German software provider we are very serious about it.
At it-sa 2018, befine Solutions AG will show how companies, institutions, and authorities can easily and securely exchange information. We will also present many new Cryptshare feature releases.
Cryptshare V 4.0
Since the release of Cryptshare V 4.0 it is now also possible to exchange large files as well as sensitive information on the go in a secure and easy way- with a new responsive design and full mobile device support.

With Cryptshare for Office 365 & Outlook, your business communications will be elevated to a whole new level of security and usability directly inside the office documents you create. The administrator can now design and exert policy controls more centrally, which in turn increases usability, making life easier for the user.

Cryptshare protective e-mail classification
Since earlier this year, the rules of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are in effect. Now, the classification of data is an important standard for compliance. Cryptshare offers not only the encryption of e-mails, but also the option for users to classify data- before it is transferred via Microsoft Outlook. Thereby, you can ensure that the compliance guidelines for protective classes of data are adhered to in your company.

At the RSA conference in San Francisco in April, Cryptshare presented QUICK technology, a one time forever password, for the first time. It elevated the secure exchange of information and data to a new level- without the exchange of keys and certificates. The full release is planned for the end of the year.
