Cryptshare Robot automates your file transfers over the Cryptshare server, making it suitable for mass sends, one to many or many to many.
Using Cryptshare Robot, file transfers can take place as time-triggered or event-triggered actions to single recipients or to distribution lists.
Cryptshare Robot is a JAVA program that can be started using a command line. Thus the robot can easily be integrated into existing applications or scripts to handle your file transfers automatically when you need it.
Typical use cases for the Cryptshare Robot are:
- from your file system: sending documents such as catalogues, technical descriptions or manuals to clients or business partners whenever new versions of these documents are available

All information required for sending a large file in an encrypted way such as recipient address, password and file names can be handed over to the robot as options in the command line. Cryptshare Robot is an add-on product for your Cryptshare Server/Appliance/Virtual Appliance
The following prerequisites apply:
- JAVA 1.4 runtime environment is required on the machine running Cryptshare Robot
- Cryptshare Server/Appliance/Virtual Appliance of version 2.6 or higher is required for the Robot to communicate with
- an SSL connection has to be possible between the machine running the Robot and the Cryptshare Server/Appliance/Virtual Appliance
