We are pleased to announce the release of Cryptshare Version 2.6.2

With version 2.6.2, Cryptshare has become even more stable and improved its performance and security. The following changes and improvements have been made:

  • Changes have been made to improve session handling for lengthy uploads.
  • Company name can be displayed better in the Administration Interface.
  • Improved layout in the log view of the Administration Interface.
  • Performance of the logging mechanism has been enhanced to allow more transfers to happen at the same time.
  • New improved verification mode for parallel use of Cryptshare for Notes/Outlook and Cryptshare Robot.
  • Enhanced security  in the upload progress bar.

Together with the update to Cryptshare version 2.6.2, we will roll out the new appliance package version 1.2 to those of you who are using a virtual or hardware appliance. With this new package, the administration of the appliance infrastructure becomes a lot easier. Apart from a better handling of the command line admin tool, we have improved the management of SSL certificates in the admin tool.

Cryptshare versions prior to 2.6 and version 2.6 and higher do now have separate repositories that can be set. The appliance package will automatically point your system to the correct repository based on the version installed.

As a result, your appliance will first auto-install the new appliance package and then download and install Cryptshare version 2.6.2 the following night. No user action is required.
