For users

Addressing of multiple receivers now simplified

We have significantly simplified the addressing of multiple recipients. Previously, each receiver had to be put into a single field. Now a big single field is available for putting in receivers addresses. You can consecutively enter the addresses and use arbitrary dividing symbols. cryptshare takes on all valid addresses in a dynamically growing list.

To make the adoption of addresses from other data sources even easier, an arbitrary sized text from external sources can be entered into the field via copy and paste. cryptshare analyses the text, filters out all valid mail addresses and adopts them into the recipient list.

The subject for transfers can be manually allocated

Senders can now enter manually the subject for file transfers which is used in the notification mail. This feature is optional. If no subject is entered, an automatic subject is generated as previously.

Users with log reading rights

The possibility exists of setting up one or more users who can exclusively read the log file or download it as .csv-file. Users with this authorisation cannot, however, see the configuration of cryptshare and also not influence it. Hence, you can give power users or site administrators the possibility to track file transfers without involving the cryptshare administrator.

Customising of operator information

The operator information in the administration interface can now be customised. Hence, you have unlimited possibilities of adapting the operator information to your corporate identity and embedding your company logo.

Automatic transmission of log files

Now the sever log file can be automatically transmitted to the registered administrator at intervals that can be configured. Please note that the log has to be sent via plain text e-mail. For this reason, this option is unsuitable for hosted environments or transmission to external e-mail addresses.

Warning: server hard disc overflow

cryptshare now has an automatic monitoring of the corresponding storage path for the transfer packages. When a configured warning threshold is exceeded, a mail is sent to the administrator.

cryptshare configuration overview

A new cockpit mask on the administration interface gives an overview of all relevant settings and system parameters that influence the smooth functioning of cryptshare. This overview offers a system administrator the possibility of quickly identifying critical situations and mistakes.
